The
newsletter was created using productivity software such as Microsoft Word. In
the newsletter I used text manipulation and formatting, which demonstrates
standard one “a”, introductory knowledge and skills. The addition of pictures
to this newsletter demonstrates standard one “b”, or the continual growth in
technology. The webquest was created using productivity software and research
skills. The wequest demonstrates standard two “a”, developing appropriate learning
opportunities by developing lessons for the webquest and finding the research
material for the children to learn. Standard “b” was also met with the research
that the children must do for the webquest. This process also meets standard
two “c”, “d”, and “e” by forcing the students to only visits the sites listed
in the webquest. The power point presentation encompassed presentation software
as well as basic image manipulation and text manipulation. This project meets
standards three “a”, “b”, “c”, and “d” through addressing content standards,
the use of technology to support from the help menus, applying technology to
develop students higher learning, and managing student learning activities.
Creating the rubric for evaluating resources and the webquest utilized
productivity software as well as teaching fundamentals and basic evaluation
skills. This process met standard four “a”, “b”, and “c”. Creating the
classroom newsletter to inform out students of the dangers of copyright
infringement developed the professional practice standards in standards five
“a”, “b”, and “c”. It also met “a”, “b”, “c”, “d”, and “e” of standard six.
